There are phrases that stay with us for years and ultimately shape the way we view life. For her, one of those phrases came from Fernando Pessoa:
“When spring comes,
even if I am already dead,
the flowers will bloom just the same.”
The realization that the world will go on without us led her, from an early age, to ask a fundamental question:
